Yes I'm sure the businesses that are getting bonus money are very angry that their technology prohibits them from removing the feature asking for bonus money. The people you should be mad at are the technology companies who are forcing this extra money gathering opportunity on these poor, technologically illiterate business who absolutely do not want to get bonus money.

The businesses don't get the money. They must give 100% of it to the staff by law. Management doesn't care and would probably prefer a machine that isn't customer-hostile by asking for a tip in a circumstance where no tip is expected.

Yeah? "By law?"

They also must pay their employees overtime "by law". And not require them to work when clocked out "by law". And give them a certain amount of breaks "by law".

How many of these laws do you think businesses break on a regular basis?
