No matter how absurd the situation becomes, no matter how engaging the videos are, we should never be fooled into thinking Iran are the good guys. This is an unfortunate, ill-conceived war, but that doesn't clean Iran's hands.

I don't think there are many people who believe "Iran are the good guys."
Lots of people do understand that bombing civilian infrastructure, killing innocent civilians, and taking actions that were inevitably going to lead Iran to respond with the goal of inflicting widespread economic damage has in many ways actually helped and emboldened the Iranian regime.
This wasn't just "unfortunate" and "ill-conceived". It was stupid and arguably criminal.

I'd consider them allies at least given that all of the bad guys hate Iran with a burning passion. Iran is also the only major country on earth that have actually stood up to Israel and helped defend Palestinians.
These are all things Ukraine does, "bombing civilian infrastructure, killing innocent civilians, and taking actions that were inevitably going to lead Iran[Russia] to respond with the goal of inflicting widespread economic damage". It is extremely tiresome to hear such a litany without a wider analysis. In its mad program to retain control of ... Syria, of all places ... Iran killed and incinerated and dissolved in acid more people than any of this idiocy will ever add up to.
Ukraine has been fighting for its right to continue existing for several years against an aggressor (i.e., Russia), who, from day one, attacked their civilians and civilian infrastructure. Russia shows no signs of giving up after all this time, so I'm not sure I can fault the logic of any Ukranian strategist who concluded they needed to respond in kind in the hopes it might make the war less popular to the Russian population.
If one side in a conflict is ignoring the rules, especially if it's the aggressor/occupying force, you cannot expect the other side to continue following them. The moral high ground is a luxury affordable only when you're the overwhelmingly superior force.
You'll have to point me to the place where I made any comment about or expressed any opinion on Ukraine.
But since you raise the point: I am against any attacks on civilian infrastructure. They are an affront to humanity. Russia's attack on Ukraine was, I believe, a crime but one crime doesn't justify others. Modern warfare will be the end of us and anyone cheering death and destruction, even when it occurs as a result of acts of defense, has lost the plot.
Iran may be the originators of good/evil duality but that doesn't mean we should follow their lead.
Anyway Iran are good enough when we want, we fought alongside them in Afghanistan after 9/11 and against ISIS. Their oil was good enough to (let BP) take 80% of it for 30 years.
"This is an unfortunate, ill-conceived war" - yeah, like we went in and killed some people. Oopsy but that's ok cause we're the good guys. Your logic stinks disregarding how bad the other side is.
Well then you're doing the work of the same people that killed an entire school of little girls in an unprovoked attack. Nothing Iran has done comes close to what the Zionists have done in Iran and many other countries.
You have been fooling yourself for decades that you're the good guys.
But you're not. No amount of mental gymnastics can help at this point to justify all the evil things USA does around the globe because of greed and lust for dominance.
Iranian regime are not the good guys either, but they're the product of what regimes in UK and USA was doing to the country for decades, because of their oil.

Iran, like the Ukraine was attacked first. That being said Iran is waging a more moral war than Ukraine in my opinion.

You destroyed their country on a basis of Israel's messianic ambitions and your voracious capitalists infinite greed. This is the truth.
And now you are blabbering about "good/bad guys"..
You are just totally nuts, and your place is on the same bench where nazi officials sat after 1945.

I do need to agree with you.

Exactly.
Iran are the bad guys. Israel are the worse guys.
