TL;DR — metaverse Instagram account was flagged for misrepresentation post FB rebranding, then reinstated once an actual human in support was reached.
Story is just like any other automatically-flagged acount story, except that it seems likely this only happened once "metaverse" was added to some internal special-case list.
To avoid this happening, don't use an external platform for your "life's work".
Sorry, it sounded as if they managed to do that in the regular way you've got to do that with FB/Google/...: they made the issue as public as possible before somebody reacted to that publicity.
Should have made that clear, even though I said that it was just like any other automated action by those actors :)
