I hate foo/bar for some reason. I think it's because it is supposed to be "this is just whatever", and yet they force me to think about Kung Fu, the Foo Fighters and crowbars.
You know it's an old military acronym, right? F.U.B.A.R. stands for eFfed Up Beyond All Recognition. (And SNAFU is Situation Normal: All eFfed Up.) ;-)

I really like these "learn you a" books.
