Being a Linux user and Evernote's strong desire to not even support Evernote for Chrome on Linux has been one of the main points against use Evernote.

I have wanted a true Evernote competitor for so long. SpringPad going down was a bad news.

I am glad there are open source solutions that can be used at least for basic functionalities.
