Just be upfront about this situation. Come up with a cap table that includes everyone that brings in non-zero value, and fairly allocate equity based on what each individual brings to the team. There's no reason to split 50/50 if 2 people are not contributing equally, might be closer to 95/5. Make sure you can defend any equity amount based on objective reasons.
