Do you want a corporate job? Then the MBA and the school at which you earned it is of some importance. Also remember that there is an oversupply of MBAs - too much supply, falling demand. So even if you dream of a high paying corporate job, you will have to accept that there is a high level of competition.
BTW: I don't have an MBA, so my view is that of an outsider looking in, based on a mixture of real world (TM) observations and reading business magazine articles.
