So, in summary, the difference between a patriot and a traitor is just PR. Pun intended.

Wow... good job! But now that Snowden left the US, he must be an ex-patriot. The traditional response is an extradition request.

It's almost an anagram: patriot -> traitoP, so replace 'p' with 'r'. So the difference is literally the letters PR.

You reminded me of the old chestnut: One man's terrorist is another man's freedom fighter....
