As you noted, the officially supported Python SDK(s) are: https://pypi.python.org/pypi/pyrax and the https://pypi.python.org/pypi/python-swiftclient/ which pyrax leverages internally and https://pypi.python.org/pypi/python-novaclient/ for compute.
