Check out Olin College. They are built specifically for engineers who also want to get into creativity and design. They emphasize teams with a project-based curriculum. Oh, and there's no cost. They've been cited as one of the next Ivy League schools and have what I've heard to be a very strong engineering program.
I was seriously considering Olin before I visited, but it just didn't jive with me. The small size and 100% engineering focus made it feel like such a narrow bubble that I couldn't see myself enjoying more than a semester there, which is too bad, because it seemed like it would have been perfect for me in all respects other than the claustrophobia.

Olin is a great school. Just be cognizant of their admissions process; it is very thorough.
