Actually SSDs are the best place for a swap file. 4K random reads and writes. If a few random 4K writes is enough to make you worry about your SSD failing then you bought the wrong SSD (i.e. a non Intel or Samsung one).

Sensible places to use SSD for Redis: RDB persistence, AOF persistence.
Not sensible places to use SSD: swapfiles.
