muzak is even more evil than a casual observer might guess -- there were forks used for essentially "labor mind control" in the 70s and 80s -- but it is hard for me to agree that the world does not need it. and the companies that made billions off of that were tech companies leeching off of working musicians too.

now, is suno a "better" way to make functional music, if it is determined to be a business necessity for thousands of businesses? idk.

but the muzak company still exists, under some other name, and i think SOMEBODY should disrupt the hell out of them, without paying session musicians $50 a day because they are exploitable.

this is where i start saying "please don't downvote me i am nice and have thought about this exact topic for the last 3 years straight, i even wrote a play about it"
