On a humble, personal note, I question whether long term medicine is the best route for schizophrenia though. If the future isn't institutionally captured, I think we will move on to different methods, perhaps even learning how to redirect the disorder into something respectable. This of course acknowledges that the disorder is not a single thing, and comes in many shapes and sizes.
