FWIW, it turns out that all USB floppy drives nowadays are made in the same factory, and all of them are kinda glitchy. Go buy an older model on eBay instead of buying new.

Sorry for the late reply. They require you to unplug the entire drive and plug it back in to properly recognize a new disk.
