Standard G-code is brittle and lacks basic programming ergonomics. I built Bellerophon, a DSL with a decoupled firmware adapter architecture, so the .bph source stays universal while the compiler handles targeted translation to Klipper, Marlin, or RepRap.
Lately I used it to generate print patterns with math that you wouldn't get from a slicer, which was fun. Right now my biggest hurdle is the compiler choking on large compiled outputs. School's taken most of my time, but I'm moving the application off browser localStorage onto a proper JSON persistence layer this month. I do hope to add more features in the future.
