Yeah, it really sucks. They brutal childhoods and lives and you need to get them actual help through churches and non-profits who deal with the core issue, not just paste over it with endless welfare checks from soulless government social workers.

It does suck and it's awful that the burden is on small underfunded volunteers instead of a dedicated pay as you go system.
