Comment on Chess enters school curriculum in Kurdistan, Iraq

Comments

In my primary school in Istanbul, we had chess classes weekly on Fridays as the last class. The timeslot and our kind Ukrainian teacher was making it impossible to concentrate. As a result I never able to become a child prodigy but I have very fond memories of that class. Good for the kids!
