To be clear, it's not meant to be "anti-" anything, but we prefer to "buy local" whenever possible (not _always_ and not _exclusively_), and this seemed like an option that didn't exist in a similar fashion in Europe. GDPR is PITA for webmasters, not "guarantees to some people".
That's an interesting point of view. In your case it seems it'd still be a guarantee of being a PITA, so my statement holds. :)
