It's really interesting how every situation like this ends up with corporations punishing honest people for trying to play by the rules, while people who don't play by the rules don't get punished at all (as in pirated Minecraft servers.)

At the same time, the list of requirements for people to remain honest increases exponentially every year, driving more people to piracy.
