You dont get jobs on there because unless you have a “god tier” resume and application filled out, HR has to pay to unlock your name from your application, so nobody is going to do that if you arent the #1 candidate in all of LinkedIn that applied.

I have been getting jobs from LinkedIn for my entire career (approximately 15 years). Mind you, I'm always nice to recruiters and respond to them, so I probably get bounced up higher in the search results.
