i dont know which instance you joined, but most lemmy doesnt encounter those links, you mustve went to a spam/botting part of lemmy. Each instance of lemmy is essentially its own little "Reddit". the ones you shouldnt join is ml, lemmygrad, or hexbear those are "far left" tankies.
