Comment on Remote work benefits are much bigger than a paycheckparent

Comments

I am remote currently and I think of it the other way around- what percent raise would I need to go back to office full time. And it’s way beyond 100%

Problem is that once you are 100% remote you start to compete with everyone with acceptable english and fast internet connection for the same jobs.

If I need geographic advantage to gain a competitive edge, what am I even doing in that field? I just maximize my employee value and everything has worked out fine so far.

Source: I've been 100% remote for 6 years.

Not really, in my experience most jobs still only hire within one country.
