This might be useful for active Reddit users once they sunset Old Reddit for good, but this doesn't solve the issue of lurkers being unable to use an Old-Reddit-like interface.
i think reddit users got burned when they purged so many accounts last year, that people dint want to risk getting banned again, so they all lurk now, including me. because how reddit filters work and the subs too, you can get banned very indiscriminately. and its almost impossible to appeal shadowbans.
