North Korea has an estimated 60 warheads. I'm sure SK has more than enough THAADs to deal with launched ones and the aerial capability to disable nuke sites.

Fortunately, I'm quite certain the people who are actually in charge of policy don't share your level of confidence.

Even if they run out of THAAD, they have L-SAM systems.

That being said, as I mentioned elsewhere, South Korea is choosing the pragmatic path because their optimal first strike scenario requires too many variables to be aligned properly.
