Based on the location I got it guesses the location from the IP. The accuracy of that varies wildly by country and ISP. The US is a place where it is usually accurate to the city level
Aha thanks. I'm using a different computer and I mistakenly thought I had Private Relay switched on; it's not enabled on this machine. Turning it on gives expected results. Needed the IP reminder to figure that out!
