I don't use sample packs much, just the occasional loop that comes with Kontakt or similar products.
If I may be honest, I think the product doesn't make sense - and I speak as someone who has composed music professionally. I could see myself paying for a generator VST that I can use organically with my other tracks but I'd never go to a site to download a generated, yet static, pattern that I'd later use in a composition.
Good feedback. An in-DAW generation VST is indeed something we could cook up! Glad to hear there is interest in that.
I agree the current workflow can improve, which is why the next release will feature "Conductor" mode: a 7-track synthesizer (one track per octave) all working together to create a complete passage of music.
