The argument balances on, AI Doesn't Care. Well, put that module in, then it does care.

The advantage to AI (why it will never go away) is that it can be updated, universally, on a dime. With new techniques, skills, logic and ultimately even 'caring' whatever that means to us.

Not sure about "on a dime". AI companies are currently spending billions of dollars every year, with none making any profit.

Sure, AI will get better. I even say that at the end. But, the replacement scare is unfounded. My point is mostly, AI will make humans more human rather than more unemployed.

SOrry, I meant 'from the consumer point of view'. Once the billions are spent, I just update my version.

Yes so far the AI takeover is overblown. I see that changing - at some point, the AI functionality will improve to the point it CAN replace people for many things. Every year it is leaps and bounds beyond what came before.
