Ya, I didn't mean Linux itself (which I like) but that I'd have to run it on sub-par laptop hardware. I travel a lot and there's no getting around the fact that macbooks are incredibly good from a hardware perspective. Solid keyboards. Amazing trackpads. Really good screens. I've yet to find a wintel equivalent, even with linux pre-installed, that didn't feel like a downgrade.
