I am curious about the mindset of readers consuming the NYT, Bloomberg, The Guardian, or the BBC that creates such a demand for “WE’RE ALL GONA DIE!!!” articles. Just as I was going to relax on a quiet Saturday night, BOOM!, now there are flesh eating bacteria, and this is on top of climate change, death of democracy and never ending genocide in Gaza.
It's just a news article and not that deep. It's a basic article reporting on five cases or whatever, no mention of all of us dying. I'm curious about your mindset to extrapolate all this from a run of the mill article reporting on deaths of people. Not a doctor, but maybe you should talk to one.
