It does kinda concern me that people see glasses with a camera in them and automatically assume others wearing them clearly and obviously must be using them for perverted reasons.

Kinda a weird train of thought to default to imo. Especially when theres a bajillion other cameras pointed at everyone on the regular, ones with far greater fidelity.

I don't assume any such thing, but then, I prefer to say "glassholes" rather than "pervert glasses".

What I do assume is that they are recording me without my consent and sending that recording to a server somewhere for storage and/or analysis. That's the part that I find deeply offensive.

In theory I agree. It's probably just a way for people who don't like AI to weaponize the issue.
