Except of course nobody is ever exonerated by that kind of investigation. If they find nothing of interest, they'll just insist that the incriminating information is elsewhere, and issue more subpoenas.

If he's lucky they won't leak his browser history. More likely they'll find something that can be ambiguous when taken out of context, and insist that proves he singlehandedly spread COVID by breathing on people.
