I see adults at the job who do not even bother reading a single word from the AI slop they shove down everyone else's throat literally daily. They will copy/paste a question, and just copy/paste the answer with 0 proofreading or checking or anything.

I can so easily believe that kids do the exact same thing.

That's a good point, but this isn't just one student; it's EVERY student (oh god I sound like AI)

More like 90-ish percent. On the high side, yes, many educators have experiences that would make the figure relatable.

Signed: Someone who had to do away with prose/essay assignments after the bright people in tech decided that making these "tools" accessible is a good idea.
