Comment on teachers decry plan for humanoid robot in New York high school

As an experiment this might be interesting to observe. I strongly suspect that a subset of the children will rapidly move to trying to harm the bot, just to see how and if it responds. Slather its face with lipstick? Stick pencils in its orifices? Children are resourceful given a challenge. It's not a real person, so hurting it is fine even in a child's ethical model, and possibly fun.

Want to bet some of the teens will come up with an 'ejaculate in its face' challenge for extra kudos on InstaTok?

(Of course, these kind of experiments should not be run on children going to school.)
