I read many of those sad sack comic strips, and many others, like dennis the menace, richie rich, archie (archie, betty, veronica, reggie, moose, midge and jughead), casper the friendly ghost, phantom, etc., in paper comic books, as a kid.

somewhat or quite entertaining, depending on which strip, i gotta say.
