clicking the "looking to grow" link to their jobs page with middle click (which means it should open in a new tab) causes it to open in the same window (in google chrome). It seems that medium is hijacking clicks and forcing them into the same window, I wonder why...

Command-click works fine for me in Chrome. Is this a Linux thing?
I noticed the same thing in Firefox on Linux.
