Well, a quick search on nih.gov shows almost 2000 papers on "high myopia" submitted within the last year, so it sure looks like there are researchers in the world you could reach out to?
Yep, and I've been doing this already! So far no response (understandable; I'm just a random guy), which is why I figured I'd expand my search by posting here on HN.
