She’s hardly long forgotten or forgotten at all.

She was long forgotten. Her notoriety is actually a recent phenomenon.

Yep. She didn't reappear in history until the 1950s when Babbage's papers were reviewed with the increased development of computing as a field of study (and really took off in the 80s when US DOD sponsored the development of the Ada programming language).
