Eventually the values went so high that a billionaire came in, bought the houses, and are now performing 8 year basement construction projects to make them more conducive to billionaire living.
When you're so posh and elite that literally oligarch can only afford to buy real estate in the neighbourhood. Turned out not so nice after all. Let them maul each other.
