Comment on Curate your own newspaper with RSS

Comments

I'm guilty of having fallen off the RSS bandwagon as Twitter grew and Google Reader was killed off. But over the past few years, I've gotten back into the groove of curating a list of small blogs in an RSS feed. Catching up on my feed is such a nice way to start the morning. It's always great to see a new piece show up from a writer you like, but who posts infrequently. The fracturing of social media made me want to post more on my own site, and I'm seeing more posts from others who feel the same. I'm hoping this trend continues.

We should bring back the blogroll. Also, you should link the opml when talking about your subs. They deserve it.

It's a good point, I really should. I'm currently replatforming from Jekyll to 11ty. I've added this to my to do list!
