I understand it, yet I think it is an immature behavior. I believe it's better to be known for what you actually do and titles given to you by other people, than slapping a title next to your name.
Except when you bootstrap a startup, work nine to nine every single day for months and raise a million or two. Then you can probably say you're a CEO.
