is it literal ping (icmp echo) or what? havent seen it, but ur network parameters might put you on externally routable ip or ipv6 or so (no NAT). cant capture on my modem here.

any mode traffic parameters to share so people clould verify? (intervals between probes fixed? packet sizes/frequencies?)
