Without wanting to be any snarkier than usual, all-the-scale-without-the-compromise has been possible for decades. It's just really expensive.

good point.. the key difference here is that it's also "..without the cost"

noSQL and YesACID. It's that easy.

Call your local Oracle, IBM, Sybase, Teradata, AsterData etc sales engineer. They'll be happy to fill you in.

Be prepared for sticker shock.
