If Musk remains the CEO, everyone doing business with Tesla understands that they are dealing with a US government official. That's going to be a big business risk, especially outside the US.

It seems like this would be very good for business, especially considering the billions in revenue Tesla already earns from the u.s. government. If I were a Tesla competitor I would be worried.
