Unable to view the entirety of the article, so I'm unsure if this is addressed:

This used to be called haggling. Key difference here is that price discrimination is now exclusive on features that are out of a users' control. This of course will be addressed by the user akin to how one spoofs their browser information to incite specific behavior of a web service.

The term user agent is fitting within the context of this article as well! Will just need to spoof some combination of demographic context to get the lowest price of a service.
