Unpopular but true: if you don't have conflicts of interest, you aren't really in the game. I don't know any serious business person who doesn't have conflicts. Some manage them as honestly and fairly as possible, others not so much.

It’s not even specifically about the conflicts of interest — although that isn’t great — it’s about the obfuscation of that information, and the direct contradiction with public statements and ‘mission goals’.
