I've always been a fan of Rich Hickey's talks. After I wrote this blog post I cold-emailed Rich and said roughly: "Thanks for sharing your talks, I wrote this about your last talk, hope you have a good week." and he replied back same day with a nice note. 10/10 would recommend cold emailing your heroes.
