Advancing classical computer power, of the kind found in GPUs and vectorization silicon, doesn't really do anything to threaten RSA-2048, which is (at least) what's deployed in all modern RSA applications. The thing that threatens RSA-2048 is likely to threaten all the rest of RSA; that might be quantum computing, or it might be mathematical advances, but either way there isn't so much an arms race of increasing RSA key sizes.
