I didn't even realise there was such a thing as a devsecops engineer! I thought the point of DevSecOps was to integrate security into DevOps, but not necessarily in the form of one person who does it all. Not surprised there isn't time to be able to handle the entire thing.

Having said that, I've never worked anywhere that actually did it, or even claimed to, so I'm speaking from a position of ignorance...
