5 times, (first was a late app) have done $200K in revenue since march 2022. I am older (35) and a technical founder, so this time I really focused on just the business mechanics and Ive been REALLY slow in building the product side of it (we're doing it pretty much manually right now) never heard back. I feel like its almost a ritual to just apply now and show the progress (which has been pretty fun - the first time I applied we made our first $5K and it was just me and my first employee) - now we're like 11 people and have done 200K.
I do want to get in, dont get me wrong, it would accelerate the idea like crazy and I genuinely think I am the perfect founder for what YC was built for, but at the same time its kind of funny that Im OK with not getting in
