I used to use a remarkable but these days I am happy with an iPad. It's not e-ink and I use it only for reading and annotating pdfs and taking notes. However, the writing experience is great. It sucks because I have many ideas for software which could use that pen/paper experience but i don't want to develop software for the closed iOS environment. I wish there was a Linux tablet/distribution with good touch support and this level of pen/paper writing experience.
